Supermarket METRO headquarters, Metamorfosi  (invited to architectural competition)

This was an invitation for an architectural competition for the renovation and functional upgrade of the headquarters of METRO AEBE in Metamorfosi, Attica. The proposal focuses on the architectural redesign and spatial reorganization of the existing office buildings, aiming to create a contemporary and efficient working environment. The design includes the introduction of a new main entrance and reception lobby, open-plan workspaces accommodating more than one hundred workstations, executive and managerial offices, meeting and interview rooms, and a staff dining area with supporting facilities. The project also addresses the reconfiguration of the surrounding outdoor spaces, including pedestrian circulation, landscaped areas, and the reorganization of parking facilities. In addition, the architectural concept proposes the visual and functional upgrading of the building envelopes, the improvement of accessibility, and the integration of shared employee areas that encourage interaction and collaboration. The overall design approach emphasizes a restrained and contemporary architectural language aligned with the corporate identity and operational needs of the company.
